Having gone through numerous lineup changes and breakups, the band are still playing their unmistakable brand of murky blues, country, and funk. Founding member Bill Payne, who is also a prolific session player, and has played with the likes of Pink Floyd and The Doobie Brothers, is still going strong, touring extensively year on year!

Formed in 2001 the five-piece were a stalwart of the club scene before recording and releasing their debut album, "War of the Roses", in 2004. Since getting signed by G&G Entertainment in 2008 the band has garnered a loyal fan base.

The band cites country music, Mariachi, new wave, college rock, funk, Iranian folk music, Brazilian music, and hip hop as their main influences and are particularly noted for lead singer McCrea's monotone singing style, sarcasm-heavy lyrics, and unique trumpet lines. Their last album Showroom of Compassion was released in 2011 to the top of the chart for the first time.
